Are you tired of Congress talking about raising our taxes as they waste our money on garbage and pet projects? These folks could not balance a checkbook if their lives depended on it. We give them this power and the abuse it by wasting the taxpayers monies. Every time they make a mistake they spend our money to fix it and then tell us how lucky we are that they are now, this time able to protect us. Is it just me or do we see a pattern here of complete and utter incompetence? If they were a corporation we as the Shareholders would have thrown their asses out on the street long ago.

Contrary to popular belief these days weakness is not a human trait and it certainly is not an American Trait, until now. With all the political correctness, why you would swear that being a wimp is in vogue. With all the weakness going on in the United States, it is no wonder that the rest of the World is predicting our demise.

Journalism, as it is often said, is the fourth branch of power, along with legislative, executive and judiciary, not any less mighty than those three, even if not legally endorsed in the Russian constitution. It is the power of symbolism, and it cannot be escaped, but can only used to bring truth, or abused to bring propaganda. The French sociologist Pierre Bourdier claims, that it is the opportunity to create reality with the help of words: we are approaching the time, when the social universe is described and prescribed by mass media. One cannot but agree with this view.

Those heartrending images of skinny and dilapidated physiques of adults, children, and infants due to the grisly famine in Niger can be hard to accept by any ordinary mind-set in the world lending some way or the other "a normal life". Usually when we talk about hunger, starvation, malnutrition, and hazardous diseases we instantly come to link our senses with the regions of western African regions and one of them is Niger's crisis which is hitting the international headlines these days.

Nothing to Fear
Terror is meant to change policy. Fear is meant to support policy. This is the Old World idea of balance. Guns change votes and that is why democracy is found nowhere. Nor would we want democracy if we had a choice, because we know the majority is more often wrong than right. In fact, the majority loves to be deceived and chooses deceivers to lead them down the road to glory. Europe has had so much of this last Century, it balks at the idea of supporting any potential 21st Century Hitler, on either side of the Atlantic.

You have to love politicians. Jumping on the renewable energy bandwagon, they are suddenly coming up with all kinds of programs to solve energy problems.

The world is too much with us; late and soon, Getting and spending, we
lay waste our powers
Poet William Wordsworth was contrasting
nature with a materialistic world when he wrote that in the 18th century.
What has changed?

How can we stop the corruption in our government? Some say you never can, others say it is easy; Fire all of them and start over. Well sure we could remove all the politicians, keep the essential services running; Water, Power, Monetary, Trade, Transportation, Communication, Education, etc and start over. Literally redo government in a social and political revolution without a shot ever being fired, but can it be done?
